Contour Red Light
The highest level of healing light energy available
Contour Light delivers both red light (635nm) and near infrared light (880nm) via high-powered, German-made, surface mount microchip LEDs that are embedded into a soft and flexible pad. The pads can be easily applied to any area of the face or body, conforming to the contours of a patient’s treatment area, and allowing the light source to be as close to the skin as possible.
Contour Light’s proprietary reflective coating means that light that would normally bounce off the skin and dissipate, is captured and reflected back into the skin, resulting in a much higher retention of light energy than with other similar devices.
The Contour Light treatment is safe, painless and non-invasive. The Contour Light System has delivered impressive results for patients looking for body contouring (circumferential reduction), pain relief, and increased blood circulation.

Frequently Asked Questions About Contour Red Light Treatment
What is Contour Light?
Contour Light is a revolutionary non-invasive body contouring treatment that helps you achieve a natural-looking, slimmer appearance without surgery.
How is Contour Light different from coolsculpting?
Contour Light drains the fat from fat cells, cool sculpting kills fat cells. Contour Light also provides all the great benefits of red light including stress, pain, insomnia relief and so much more.
What parts of the body can you use Contour Light?
Most of our clients work on losing inches from their mid-section, thighs and biceps simultaneously while using the face mask to boost collagen production and improve skin health in each of their sessions.
What can I expect during my first Contour Light session?
When you arrive, we will walk you through the process to ensure you are really comfortable. You will want to wear comfortable clothing that allows us to access your bare biceps, bare thighs and at your belly button and 2” above and below your belly button to measure both before and after your first session. Be sure to wear something that exposes the treatment areas –most clients wear a bikini. After your treatment, you will get dressed and we will measure you again in the same locations and celebrate the great news! The last step is to get onto the vibration plate for 10 minutes which will move the fat into your lymphatic system. Most clients wear socks on their feet on the vibration plate. The first session typically lasts 75 minutes and the future sessions are only 45-60 minutes.
How long do the results last?
The results last as long as you do not exceed your body’s calorie needs. The fat is drained from the fat cells and will only come back if there are excess calories resulting in newly stored fat. Contour Light is a great tool to provide a boost in results when paired with healthy eating and a consistent exercise routine.
What do you wear?
The light needs to have direct contact with the skin so most clients wear a bikini to ensure the treatment areas are exposed to the light. Be sure to also bring socks to wear on the vibration plate.
For your first session, we will measure you before and after your sessions, so you will want to wear comfortable clothing that allows us to access your bare biceps, bare thighs and at your belly button and 2” above and below your belly button.
How should I prepare for my first session?
- Arrive 15-30 minutes early for your scheduled session time.
- Fast 2 hours before and after each session.
- Drink plenty of water before to hydrate the fat cells and after to flush the fat out of your system.
- Remove any creams or lotions from your body prior to each Contour Light session.
- Plan to exercise if possible both before and/or after your session or enjoy our infrared sauna.
- Incorporate 2-3 foods (leafy greens, cruciferous vegetables, fatty fish, garlic, nuts, turmeric, olive oil, fruits and berries, avocado, etc.) that help detox your liver into your diet each day.
How often can I do Contour Light?
Most clients do 2-3 sessions per week. There needs to be two days between sessions so you could do Monday, Thursday and Saturday if you would like to come in three days a week.
Does it hurt and is it going to be hot?
It is painless and non-invasive. It feels warm, but not hot, and feels like you are laying on the beach in the perfect temperature sun or that you are wrapped in the perfect temperature blanket.
Can I move or do I have to lay perfectly still?
The pads are secured onto the treatment areas with Velcro but they can move if you move, so it is best to relax comfortably and minimize movement. Slight movements are ok, but don’t plan on sitting up, standing or rolling over.
Is it okay to miss an appointment?
Be sure to keep your regular appointments and make up appointments if you miss one. Red light is cumulative and the most significant results appear during the last 25% of treatments.
Is it okay to drink alcohol and caffeine while receiving Contour Light treatments?
